Agent URL Help

If you're trying to access a specific estate agent's property listings, try one of the following:

1. Use the agent's direct URL:

When typing the homes.co.za address in your web browser, add the estate agency name after "www.homes.co.za/".

Replace any spaces in the name with underscores (_).

For example, to see all properties listed by the agency called Riverside Properties, use the address:

2. Use the Search page:

Click on the Search link in the menu to start a new search:

Next, scroll through the list of estage agency names in the "Estate Agency" dropdown field at the bottom of the search criteria form, and select the agency you're looking for:

Now click the Search button to show all active listings for the selected agency.

If an agency name you expected to find is missing from the dropdown field, it is possible that the agency currently has no active listings on the site.

Are you an Estate Agent?

If you're an estate agent, you can send buyers straight to your own listings by using the Agent URL feature (ie. your own web address).

It's quick and easy!

Plus you can use this web address to advertise your estate agency wherever you choose, for example newspaper adverts, business cards, etc.

Steps to set up your Estate Agency web address:

• First join if you haven't already!
  
  
• Go to your My Info page:
  
  
  
• Scroll down to the "My Profile info" section near the bottom of the page, and click on the "edit" link:
  
  
  
  
• Enter the default contact information that you'd like to use for your property listings. (You will be able to change this when you add a listing.)
  
  
• Enter your agency name in the "Estate Agency" text field:
  
  
  
  
• Click the "Save" button to save your contact information and agency name.
  
  
• Now you will be able to view your listings directly with your own web address! The web address for "Riverside Properties" as in the above example would be:
  www.homes.co.za/Riverside_Properties

Notes:

There are a few requirements that you need to be aware of for the Agent URL link to work correctly:

• Your agency name can only contain letters, digits and spaces.
• Please don't use any other special characters, such as: ! # & . ,
• Note that any spaces in your name must be substituted with underscores in your URL. For example, agency "XYZ Homes" is accessed as www.homes.co.za/XYZ_Homes
